PUTRAJAYA: The health ministry has reported 1,295 Covid-19 cases and seven deaths in the past 24 hours.
Health director-general Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah said there were 1,052 recoveries, bringing the total number of those discharged to 72,733.
In a press conference, Noor Hisham said the 1,295 cases bring the total number of infections in the country to 87,913.
Meanwhile, the seven deaths bring the toll to 429.
