PUTRAJAYA: The health ministry has reported 1,348 Covid-19 cases and five deaths in the past 24 hours.
Health director-general Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah said there were 710 recoveries, bringing the total number of those discharged to 80,014.
In a press conference here, Noor Hisham said the 1,348 new cases bring the total number of cases in the country to 98,737.
The five deaths bring the total number of fatalities to 444 so far.
There are 102 patients in intensive care with 44 patients needing respiratory help.
