6 new Covid-19 clusters involving Sabah, Selangor, KL, Melaka, Johor, Putrajaya

PUTRAJAYA: The health ministry has detected six new Covid-19 clusters involving Sabah, Selangor, Kuala Lumpur, Melaka, Johor and Putrajaya.

They are the Nahaba cluster in Kota Belud and Numbak cluster in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah; Perigi cluster in Klang, Selangor; Seri Terapi cluster involving Kepong in Kuala Lumpur and Alor Gajah in Melaka; Padang cluster in Kota Tinggi, Johor; and Harmoni cluster in Putrajaya.

The Nahaba cluster in Kota Belud, Sabah, first involved an individual who underwent screening after displaying symptoms. The patient was found to be positive on Nov 4.

A total of 65 people have been screened, with 25 testing positive and 40 negative.

The Numbak cluster in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, first involved an individual screened prior to being admitted to a hospital. The patient was found to be positive on Oct 17.

A total of 21 people have been screened, with eight testing positive and six awaiting results.

The Perigi cluster in Klang, Selangor, first involved an individual screened at the workplace. The patient was found to be positive on Oct 15.

A total of 124 people have been screened, with 39 testing positive and 85 waiting for their results.

The Seri Terapi cluster in Kepong, Kuala Lumpur, and Alor Gajah, Melaka, first involved an individual screened after exhibiting symptoms. The patient was found to be positive on Nov 3.

A total of 126 people have been screened, with 12 testing positive and 106 awaiting results.

The Padang cluster in Kota Tinggi, Johor, first involved an individual screened after exhibiting symptoms. The patient was found to be positive on Nov 5.

A total of 338 people have been screened, with five testing positive and 160 awaiting results.

The Harmoni cluster in Putrajaya involved individuals screened at the workplace. The patients were found to be positive on Nov 7.

A total of 50 people have been screened, with five testing positive and 17 awaiting results.
