COVID-19 | The Health Ministry today reported 659 new Covid-19 cases, no new deaths and the highest number of recoveries in a 24-hour period.
Leading indicators in brief:
- Active cases = 10,051 ↓ (351 fewer than previous day)
- Patients in intensive care = 83 ↓ (7 fewer than previous day)
- Intubated patients = 19 ↓ (1 fewer than previous day)
- Deaths = 0
Health director-general Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah, during his daily press briefing today, said 1,000 patients were discharged in the 24-hour period ending noon today.
This was a new record.
